The Supervisor Accreditation Committee stands as a sub-committee of the     Supervision Committee

To promote effective professional supervision among NZAC members To explore     training opportunities in the area of supervision To explore professional     development opportunities around supervision To promote accreditation of     supervisors among NZAC members

To establish a Register of Supervisors including qualifications in supervision

To encourage accountability of supervisors e.g. an assessment process of     ethical and professional supervision standards

To encourage/facilitate discussion about supervision, training and practice     among members of NZAC.

National Executive has changed the name of the committee to “Supervision Committee”.  This and other aspects of the change will require ratification at the 2012 AGM.
