Many of you have seen the Jonathan Fay article in the recent Newsletter on his views of the registration of psychotherapy and the formation of a new group, IRP (independently registered psychotherapists). Unfortunately a response to the article by PBANZ (Psychotherapy Board) was too late for the same newsletter so we have made that response public here in the spirit of open and informed debate.
